Just got an confirmed offer from HR. Will be accepting it and take it as a stepping stone into the industry. Anyone else joining the July batch?

Hello, when did you have your final interview?

My senior was part of CSDP. He got a big tech company after the programme.

I know people from within the programme and the reasoning are mostly.
1. pay. Everywhere is starting to pay more and CSA pay is becoming less competitive
2. the work. There is a lot of work in CSA that is not cyber related. So you spend a lot of time doing work that does not teach you much
3. the CSDP itself. The training part i heard is okay. But you either do not get to do real work or are just "training" for the next year and a half, while your peers outside are all gaining real life experience.

Seems like its a good idea in concept but not good execution

its a cheap source of labour for ground work, that they dun have to pay market rate to attract people in.

Can share where else pays better for non cyber train people who wants to get into the field? I am thinking of getting in the field first and frm the comments above it seems possible.
