Like you, I am also working on a retirement portfolio. I am on target to get 3k every month when I fully retire at 65. With
CPF LIFE, that should top it up to 5k. Together with my spouse, we will have 8-10k of passive income at retirement. This will allow us to lead a comfortable life in our condo, as well as afford a car. For us, there is no point in retiring and having to downgrade our lifestyle to a
HDB and taking public transport.
