Difference in stat board and gov agencies is that you often get things like half day for events, or few hours earlier off a week for some of your own family like 'eat with family day', it's like
SAF, lots of time off here and there for events & stuff.
SAF day half-day go celebrate etc.
As long as you don't screw up, you can work there forever with the same bonuses yearly.
For private, you don't get much 'off time' for company events or half-days etc.
