If he puts it in his CV that he's from LSE but turns out to be from SIM in the interview, his chances will go out the window right there and then.

I absolutely agree with this. Putting yourself down as
LSE when you're from
LSE-Clementi shows how much you're lacking in integrity. Nothing wrong with SIM but be honest plz.
