it kind of depends on which industry.
being a banking student, it is possible to secure 3.5 above (for perm roes in foreign banks)
however, this industry is very competitive and perm roles opportunity are really rare. (u rly need exp or connections)

Im fortunate to secure a perm position getting 3.2 after grad in front end banking as a research analyst role. basic may be low compared to peers in this industry but an excellent learning opportunity. profits are up this year compared to previous, and the pros of front end is that we get bonus first before allocating to middle n back end support staffs.
