you have these options for retirement:
1. sell your condo at $1.5m in 10 years time. buy a studio
hdb flat for $100k. your savings will increase by $300k. so you have cash of $1.7m. you buy 5% dividend yield stock to give you dividend of $85k pa or $7k pm.
2. rent out your condo for $5k pm in 10 years time. you will get $60k pa. convert to RM and retire in Malaysia (can be jb, kl, malacca, penang, etc). you will get RM156k pa or RM13k pm.
3. you can do (2) and retire in chiang mai, krabi or koh samui. avoid bangkok.
