do u need the money urgently or to finance your studies ? if so, then go for it.
but before signing on, ask if u can upgrade to officer despite not being selected for ocs. there maybe a chance you can jump since u just finish
bmt.
explore going for navy or airforce if possible as well if u intend to pursue engineering as there r more relevant engineering experience u learn there that can be used post service..especially if u r learning eee.
but if no need $ , then why u considering ?
while it is just 2 more years, it is not really considered direct relevant experience unless u join civil service... or companies like ST engineering.
finally, make sure u like what u r selecting if u do go.
there will be times i am sure u wish u could quit, but service in army is service.
u will face long long working hours.....
