For banking, there are many sales positions opened currently, offering a good 2.7K to 3K as basic excluding commission. However, i'm not interested in doing sales. There are also operations positions opened, offering 2.8K-3K, requiring frequent OTs and working 3 saturdays per month. I'm gonna skip the talk on MA programmes and ****, because honestly, they might burn my resume when they see UOL. Nevertheless, does banking provide a better future ? if i take on operations in a bank, and jump every 2-3 years? how does it compare to the option below?

Civil sector, i'm thinking of joining singapore prison service. i go to the gym 3 times a week and fitness is part of my life. I served national service with detention barracks as an MP, not to mention prison service held talks in my camp to poach some of us too. considering i have relevant experience in incarceration, and my ippt after NS has been a consistent silver (yes free $200/year), would it be possible for me to get the position as a Senior Prison Officer? Would it be better than getting a career in the banking world ?

Many people have told me to go into banking, because it has better prospects. how true is this ?

thanks in advance.
Yes... prisons do take people with overseas degree and become senior prisons officer, but i think u start off as RO1 i think...
