Anyone knows about the career progression in dsta? Yes starting pay is good, but my friend who is doing internship there says the people there are mostly early thirties and twenties. Really have no idea where most people beyond age 35 goes to.

Do they move on to private? Or do they go into other ministries or stat board to do managerial role? Or is there an existence of something ultra classifed where experienced researcher and engineers from dsta head to?

Also wondering, are there more engineers in DSTA or more scientist? If i'm doing physics in local uni, can i go DSTA/DSO ?
