Question

I am from a poly with a union (should be very obvious which one that is).

I am one of those that did NOT get the max %age adjustment in a particular pax.

My simple question is: how can the union or for that matter anyone allow a situation whereby no teaching staff (other than HR Dir, Union President, senate members and Principal) know what is the BASIS of the sliding scale while expecting the staff to trust that the number in their adjustment letter is correct?

It is like the students sitting for a common test, and then being told what marks they got but never showed the model solution/marking scheme. If we are not allowed to do that to our students, why are we supposed to allow that to happen to us on a matter such as a SLIDING scale for salary adjustment?

Following the "rules of examination", how do we ask for a review of our "results" to confirm there is no mistake?
