i was interested in sgx at first because i thought may be related to my specialisation. but after a few years in uni, i realise i may not be suitable for it, im not from computing school so i dont have the IT skills (which after i research the job market opens more doors to banking actually).

so i was just wondering BA fresh grad to join a co like sgx, any chances?

i hope you dont see me as a passive person or someone who complains or dont see value in what i am learning, I see the value in my education yes, but that and getting a job is totally different. i am so worried i wont get a job after i did my research on job market.

also sorry if this is a wrong thread or what, dont really like to post things online but i think i need the honesty (brutal or otherwise) from the experienced people here.

and if you do help me out, i can't thank you enough.
Not much hope I think, they prefer business grads with finance majors or some sort of IT-Business joint program.

Since you studying economics in FASS, some sort of analyst or researcher job in a ministry or stat board will be more related to your study. SGX jobs are largely very niched Finance.
