🌧️ Not the post I was hoping to write today…

After months of hoping, reflecting, and putting in my best — I found out I didn’t get promoted this cycle at Accenture.

It stings. I won’t lie. It’s tough seeing the effort, late nights, and emotional energy not translating into the outcome I was aiming for. It’s hard not to take it personally, even when I know promotions are complex and based on many factors.

But if there’s anything consulting has taught me, it’s to take feedback, pivot, and keep pushing forward.

So, here I am — asking for help. If you’ve been through this before, I’d genuinely appreciate your advice. How did you bounce back? What did you do differently? What helped you grow into the next version of yourself?

To everyone who got promoted this round — I’m genuinely happy for you. Your success is inspiring, and I hope to stand alongside you someday too.
