My PL told me its not only just project backing. You need chargeability, backing from past projects, support and $$ from current projects, CCAs which are high visibility ones and your Pod lead support. But ultimately it all boils down to $$$.

No one is going to farm your promo for free. The high visibility CCAs 'they say' are SEA events, townhalls, pressos with client leadership. I did interest group but where else are we going to squeeze time when project work ends on average 9pm+ each day.
