In my division, perms are asked to go while ARs are asked to stay, regardless of their past present or perceived future output/outcome. This is the case even when perms are better at work, more competent and take greater responsibilities. Obviously we don’t have a budget issue or timeline issue or quality issues but MMF issues but no one dares to question this ridiculous constraint that drives everyone crazy. Wonder if I should just write to PM Lee to complain about this. After all, is this a good use of tax payer money? Or should I just write to WP and see if this will be brought up for parliament debate?
