spot on. you either ‘work hard’ early on in life (academics) or compete in a rat race later.
great ’path’ for those who have well-resourced family and able to access to the very best enrichment classes since young, and then off to ‘prestigious’ schools.

for the others who may not have the financial means to take piano lessons or attend montessori classes, ending up at neighbourhood schs isnt so bad actually. your childhood is probably more enjoyable than having to mug all day long. just be prepared for the rat race later on life.

outliers feel free to declare you were also deprived of head start in life but worked hard or was smart enough to ‘catch up’ unlike the ‘less motivated’ ones who couldnt, and you cant understand why they arent as lucky
