Pay is $5k now for this year's fresh grads. The pay of fresh grads will always be matched to market rate. Those that graduate in poor times like Covid drawing $3.8 to low $4k is just bad luck. |

LTA but just curious...assuming the most basic starting is 3.8k from 3rd class...
3rd class = 3.8k
2nd lower class = 4k
2nd upper class = 4.2k
1st class = 4.4k
Scholar with 1st class = 4.9k?
And if male scholar...5.1k?
That's like a staggering difference of up to 1.3k for starting salaries just based on qualifications alone...Is the whole public service THAT specific for starting salaries??
