I realised there is a strong increase in competition as the technical aspects of life sciences are overriden with floods of foreigners.
This greatly places fresh graduates at disadvantages since no there is always a foreign worker out there who ask for lower pay.

I got 2 friends grad with life sci degree from
NUS, 5-8 years back,
the male one went into some private research company and then join ministry of health 3 years later.
the female one become an air steward with
SIA, finish 5 years bond and then got married with fair rich guy , now a mum of 2 , housewife at home.
