Realised for me, my promotion seems to be in a 4-year cycle (other than promotion to GEO 3 within one year after confirmation in appointment).

From GEO 3 to 4, it took me 4 years, though I got a B on the year of promotion.
From GEO 4 to 5, it also took me 4 years. I got a C on the year of promotion as I was away for some time in the first semester.

So I don't know if it will be the same situation for me, as a KP, waiting for the SEO 1 promotion. It's been 3 years so far, this year will be 4th year. So i can only see how it goes next year to see if there's a pattern.
