It doesn't matter if they keep their money in the bank or buy assets, the end effect is the same. Because first of all why would they listen to anyone else? they made all that money doing what they do, why would they all of a sudden, listen to some random guy and take a paycut so you thinking that this is even a plausible event is pretty laughable. At most what they would do is put more money towards dept budgets which will naturally increase the salary of the people in those depts for achieving business goals. Giving people money blindly is the fastest way to kill a company.

This makes absolutely 0 sense.
You're basically saying CEO, CTO, and all the top managements who are at the top are preventing lower level employees from reaching it. You are crazy if you think the general lower employees are gunning for these titles... They are not lol
Most of them just want hit management title by 50, get 10-30k SGD a month and hopefully job hop to some easy company with a 9 to 5 and focus on their family / personal hobbies.
