So an expat earning 300k on local terms (no special housing, car and school allowances), with wife not working but kids going to international schools, and renting a CCR condo, is actually worse off than local farmer graduate couples. He also attracts a higher tax because there's no QCR ad WMCR for him.
(Local-term packages are the norm nowadays.)
So, don't need to suck up to ang mohs. They are quite poor actually.
