teaching not bad what. bit gratifying. My fridge filled with tons of pictures with medical student and thank you cards over the years.

hired GP life is ok la. Decent salary for the work. To each his own.
reality is 12K or 15K your life no difference.
work is work, earn money , live your life well
I noticed you never talked about retiring. Fitting.

Thats the story for doctors.

Lawyers and Bankers retire at around age 55 to 60.
