Yep this is correct, everyone in the firm knows this. Basically whichever project it is, if there’s strategy people (analyst to manager), consulting people (analyst to manager) and technology side people (analyst to manager), clients pay most for strategy people, followed by consulting people and last technology people. That’s why projects have the most people from technology function, you always see only a handful of consulting and strategy people, literally less than 10, at times even as little as 2-3. So the workload is arguably more for them too
It’s not a good or bad thing but this is just how it is, afterall getting strategy or consulting role offer (your talent segment in your contract from Accenture) is more challenging than getting a technology role offer. But ultimately depending on your experience, interest and suitability also.
