This is roughly the official salary range for FY22.
You may refer to page 49 of 50 of NHG's collective agreement with HSEU that has been in place since 1 Feb 2021, available on HSEU's website

You will see that the range for JG11 starts from $2550, though fresh grads would typically start off about in the middle of the range. But there are a range of factors that affect starting pay, e.g., which university, whether completed
NS, whether got years of relevant experience, etc.
As many posters have alluded to above, healthcare pay is not great. It is made up through higher bonuses, close to 4 months if including AWS. So I would not be surprised if there are people who have started off closer to the bottom of the range.
