NS is not a waste of time it is a mandatory requirement given the situation our nation is facing. The nation does give back to you by allowing you the opportunity to get a BTO flat which you will reap financial rewards after MOP. However I do agree on your point that for local guys especially, going to
NTU over the other big 2 does make sense.
