Good progression is actually one of the purpose of tap in a sense cos they realised that many are leaving after staying stuck as analyst for 2-3 years so now became default one year promote to senior analyst. But if promotion becomes default and mandatory for all then it doesn’t really have a value in it, because you may be bad but by default you still get promoted.
