Suffering ceases to be suffering when u find meaning in it.
I met my wife in Big 4 and we were working together for close to 4 years ( i treat this as our dates and bonding to know each other better)
. That why we managed to tide through the initial tough years.
Anyway, my wife has left Big 4, and has been working in house for other commerical entity since then but her progression isnt as fast as me. She is only making 6K+ but her work life balance is better. (Avging 50 hrs/week) She only need to OT as specific period (company closing).
For me, my working hours isnt as dire as my junior years now. Working probably avg 60+ hrs/week now.
However, I am still looking for opportunities to exit.
Without my wife/Me (supporting each other), i dont think I and my wife would have lasted the initial ~90hrs++ work week for our junior years in Big 4.
Audit Life generally get much easier after u made a mgr at your ~5th year mark.
