OP doesn't know what he's talking about - this is highly incorrect. I know for a fact that at least 4 of the firms named pay far below 17-18k for UK NQ level in SG (I have seen actual offer letters given out in the last 12 months from these firms).
To everyone here, don't rely on this forum for anything but local payscales. The information about the international firm market is terribly inaccurate. If you are really looking to make a move, speak to a recruiter.
