Currently a liti SA in a small-mid tier firm and very likely to be made JP-equivalent in the next year. I've tried to lateral into the B4 and international firms for the past few years but to no avail and frankly I've not bothered to try again.

Recently offered a senior legal counsel position in an GLC company. Should I make the jump now or forgo this opportunity? Comp is slightly (~10%) better than my current annual including bonus, but won't be better than my expected comp with promotion. I'm neutral on whether to continue doing liti but have no strong passion for inhouse work either.

Any thoughts would be appreciated from fellow lawyers who've been in like situation.
