You guys forgot ah? During the height of the glut fearmongering in 2016-2017, some firms were proudly declaring that they take on trainees as a "favour" or service to community, and put trainees on different payschemes, including NOT paying some of them.
They were pretty smug about their selfless contribution to the industry too
