Agree with this. Really unfair that most of us engineers are working tirelessly some even on site during cb period and didn't receive our MAC. It was introduced as a form of retaining specialised skills in IT, engineering etc. and by not giving won't it defeats the purpose in retaining these skills? I foresee a number of engineers leaving due to this.[/QUOTE]
As mentioned by another guy, you are free to quit if you feel that the compensation is too low. The fact that most of the engineers are staying shows that the current compensation package is adequate to retain them. So why should govt pay?
