It is not worthwhile taking up an LLM which you do not intend to use in your professional career. That's just a plain waste of money even if you take it up - this is especially so if you already have a TC offer. 1 year pqe in practice FAR FAR exceeds the value you get from a KCL LLM.

NB, not dissing KCL LLMs. I'm a former KCL LLM Grad. I'm merely speaking from experience. I only left to do my LLM after 3 years - and honestly, i intended for it to be more of a sabbatical and an opportunity to travel/relax rather than for its potential returns (which is really not much). If you read a couple of pages back in this forum, you'll realize that this is generally the consensus on LLMs - not just KCL LLMs in particular.
hmm I am not really wasting any PQE per se because its part of a 4 year NUS LLB + LLM degree programme. I'm also not sure which specialist course I want to get in yet. Do you have any suggestions on which courses I should look into? Thanks!
