I really don't get it on the academic results. I know some of my friends who are not the best in terms of GPA but they manage to get the offer from Google which pays a lot more than
GIC. There are easy modules in University that you can take, and it will boost your GPA but at the end you don't learn anything. I think as long as the GPA is decent (second upper/first class), then the candidates should be assesed based on their experiences/interview performance, that way it will be fair to all candidates.
