Anyone worked in singhealth/nhg?
What is the pay there considered? Good or bad, as compared to a similar level position in the civil service? They're listed in the government directory under MOH, but I thought they were considered privatized entities?
Are their yearly bonuses considered good? They probably do not have the growth bonus that civil servants get, but what would be their selling points then? |
digging up tis old thread:). anyone has any idea hows the pay and remuneration in nhg/singhealth? are they considered private/public sector?
|
I am also interested too. Have applied to position in KKH/SGH/TTSH/IMH...
Wonder how much is the -salary package -bonus(inclusive AWS) -annual increment Just for reference only, how much are these hospital paying the fresh degree grad for those common "EXECUTIVE" position? Any how much will they be getting annually after 5 years? |
I worked as executive assistant in one of the nhg institute.
Bonus is paid twice yearly, one based on performance in July and AWS in December. Job wise, i would say its a stable industry. |
What I heard is, although private, the culture is still very much civil sector-ish.

Average pay. Rigid hierarchy. Lots of people with big titles.

their pay scale is less & rigid. It is not that fascinating. bonus is better compare to civil servant. though, different hospital now manage differently.
NHG is no longer that huge. individual hospital are managing themselves with their comminity hospitals. |
are their management associate paid well? Difficult to get in?
|
is salary based on class of honours obtained or the same across the board? Does NS have an extra edge in salary too?
Cos one of the replies stated that culture is like the civil sector. Thanks for answering! |
