But then again using your comparison, the commando/ndu colonels earn more than the technical colonel isnt it? Even within military service...

nope i am graduating from nus this sem with hons, but some of my seniors, they finished their MA/MSC and are now lecturing in polys with 3.5-3.7k?

Hmm... not too sure if lecturing will give you anything resembling a pay raise.

Friends of mine who lectured after attaining their ma/msc all had to take a pay cut from their pte sector pay.
