yes. 4k is the salary for senior associate anyway. you don't really need to ask cos big 4 pays you standard salary at the lower ranks. all employees at the same rank have the same pay, at most +- 100-200.

anyway, i heard that if enter tax = dead end ? coz hard to move to other types of accounting-related jobs...??

if unable to enter big4 tax, is it feasible to join IRAS instead ? thanks once again

7Desires tax can be slightly harder to get in as there are lesser vacancies. The working hours are definitely better than audit by you still need to OT. During peak, you can stay up to 1am as well, depending on your department.

Tax is same as audit in terms of pay & progression. The word advisory just for show if you are below Director level, mainly is just tax preparations and reporting.

Hi everyone!

Does anyone here know more about Big 4 Tax?

How is the working life compared to audit? Is there peak/non peak too?

Also, how's the pay and promotions/increments like for Tax as compared to audit?

Most people automatically link Big 4 to audit, so I can't find much information about tax around here. It's an area I'm looking into but I'm not sure if I should try for tax or audit!
