Accountancy shld be scrap. Dun need accountant to make decision.. any well educated executive can do so. At best accountancy shld be a cca.

Alsp gg forward.. the sustainability reporting and assurance not even value adding. Another bs role or function that needs to go.
They should just deploy machine learning and generative artificial intelligence to replace.

I guess ISCA and ACRA are begging the Big4 not to do that

Also in future there may be no internship opportunities

They are targeting to hire ppl with lower qualifications so that they can be paid lower instead of paying A1 to do simple job.

This project called Cadet, short for Audit delivery team

So yea, change up the way things work or risk losing new blood.

Without fresh blood any industry also cannot sustain.
Did you compare yearly compensation? There's no change or just a decrease.

2) Touch your heart, confirm you searched the MOM website before. But we are bloody not covered. The law doesn’t protect us, lmao.
3) Yeah, in recent years, the exit opportunities have been very good even after slogging for 3 years.
4) Enduring works if it’s for good prospects, but what if you are enduring for nothing? Going back to point 3.
