Hi everyone, I am an audit associate working in non-big4 audit firm. Now I very scare my senior will resign because if he resign, I will need to take over his group audit with 15 subsidiaries. Some review of subsidiaries work require my senior to travel to India which I am very scare to go India. What should I do? Should I resign before my senior resign? |

I think the reason why audit junior associates resigned is because they scare to take over seniors associate's workload? Seniors associate also afraid of taking over audit assistant manager's workload? Basically, the folks who studied accountancy are nerdy, obedient, humji who scare to bear heavy responsibilities? |

(i) the growing attractiveness of alternative career options in other sectors; (ii) modest starting salaries; and (iii) long, unpredictable working hours. These factors have led to a decline in overall attractiveness of the accountancy sector compared to other sectors such as banking, technology, and consulting. The recommendations seek to address these challenges and to build a sustainable pipeline of talents in the accountancy sector. Erm, is it me, or the AWRC is pointing out what all of us already knew for the past years? Come here read feedback you can already come to the same conclusion as the above. |
