Precisely. Companies are not honest themselves as well. If you see the same company advertising every now and then in a short span of time, obviously something is wrong with that company. I have seen a few companies, same companies, advertising many times within a month or advertising again after a few months.

from that interview I realised that simple honesty sometimes is the best.
So whats the offer?

If i had known I had to wait 6 months before i gotten this lousy job, I would have.

1. learn driving; at least can be part time female taxi driver;
2. learn cooking; can fry cha kway tiao part time in market;
3. learn baking; work for really stupid low pay at bread talk.

I have 2 and a half months more to go before i decide to be out of job and get chase out of home... such is the sad life of being single...

Unregistered Should one be honest about the real reason for leaving previous jobs when asked?

If give a politically-correct standard template answer, interviewers/HR would know it is BS.
If give the real reason, it will be seen as talking bad about ex-employer.

Either way seems unacceptable.

But honestly, if a company is good, no one would quit. Obviously something is bad enough to drives people away and to quit.

How honest should one be?

Slightly less than yours... Actually notice period is only a part of the story, another is cos I don't know how to sell myself hence the poor reception on the job search front.
