those who can make huge amounts as freelance consultants need the network and brand in the industry to get commissions. joining well known ad agencies is a good start to build up resume.

Unregistered Better to do freelance / project management, joining those general ad agencies and getting <200k a year for that kind of hours not worth it. Those experienced type one launch activity can already make ~60k.

Unregistered Which ad agency is this? The pay seems rather high for an AM. Seems more like and SAM's pay?

And whoever mentioned big 3 obviously isn't from this industry.

15% means 1.8 months performance bonus? that is very low more like manufacturing levels.

Depends. For small firms its about there, but if you are talking about the marketing big 3 then they prob pay 25-30% higher.
