Deng deng deng! you have asked the million dollar question that everyone in this thread would like to know but only HR will know and will never reveal publicly because they will kena the OSA. If you just do a bit of searching in this thread you will see a lot of people asking this question over the years. I shall be nice and spoonfeed you. This is the last known salary scale from 2015, and even this is based on an unverified source, although I personally can verify two of the salary ranges so it looks legit. Quote:

105 Hi, I would like to enquire if anyone has experience about the salary package for MTI? (both monthly and per annum) The appointment is a Snr AD under business and marketing division. I have about 15+ years of relevant industrial experience.(pte sector) with NS and merit local degree. Would appreciate if I can get a good feeler here and comments too. |

Unregistered | it depends on how competent you are. Civil service's wage will never lead the market, so there will always be a significant portion of ppl who commands a higher wage than their counterparts in civil service. At the same time, civil service will not lag behind the private sector severely and risk losing senior employees either. My guess is that civil servants are somewhere around the 60th-70th percentile, perhaps higher if u factor in non-wage benefits.

Unregistered | apologies, i'm curious, can civil service match private sector, i was told that they can't, or it depends on the industry....

Unregistered | Can be higher, it all depends on the experience and nature of position.
