Basically long working hour, stress, OT, and pay is below average. But satisfying to see process churning out new products.

Unregistered Good exposure but underappreciated.

Singapore manufacturing houses are usually quite global - with bases in Malaysia, China, or even Vietnam. Good opportunity to travel and immerse yourself into global cultures. But dont expect to have the same glamour as banking, consultancy, etc.

Manufacturing is a very broad term. You need to be specific here.

Manufacturing of high-value/high tech products is still a good industry. Biotech, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals etc are not going anywhere.
