no need so critical bro. you are right. OP is just stating there are alternatives and audit is not the holy grail. it all boils down to whether you want partner kind of salary. partner pay probably equivalent to CFOs of small MNCs if consider full comp. and it’s harder to get to that position in MNC because there’s only 1 position. i think OPs point is there is still decent progression outside. and if you not making it to partner no point staying commercial defo has better wlb and better pay than SMs. let’s not forget that b4 like to counsel out SMs who aren’t on partner track. why u need a sm3 when a m2 can do the same thing lol. then you are in a position where u got no commercial xp. double fked

yeah, but you take the first year that manager earn 6k (idk 10 years plus ago from what i hear from the SMs) adjust for inflation till today. even the 7k current pay is not close enough to cover inflation. but they will say margins eroding and all that crap. that’s only because the b4 cannibalized themself out of greed
