I uncle lah

I know the 5 days workshop

That ended in 2013 or 2015

Can't remember

Please lah...u think Isca or ACRA will admit the low CA membership was due to their decision back in 2013?

So there no way to turn back

U guys die die do SCAQ exam to get CA

And to future comercial accountants...u better don't think u can run away with SCAQ exam

Why? They been emphasis the need for professional qualification

You need to be working in ATo to take P lvl SCAQ.

If They want to boost CA, they should just allow everyone to be able to take , like ACCA / cpa aus / icaew
floodgate very big

If close the floodgate i think possible

But companies will suffer from higher labour cost and business association will kpkb

Problem is also book-keeping which low value add also associated with accountancy thus it has to be carved out from higher value add work

If ISCA tells ACRA that CA membership not increasing much because commercial accountants are not taking SCAQ exam....what can ACRA do?

Create some law that SGX accounts can only be prepared by ISCA CA??

U see these commercials accountants still want to take SCAQ exam or not?? Lol
Look at the macro environment in G8 countries

Will SG be laughing stock if this is implemented?

Nevermind

I make sure you guys take SCAQ exam....by advocating to ACRA that CA is very important
