Likewise, FPA manager without audit experience - then how to check whether consolidation is correct?
What make you think commercials folk donno about consolidation?

It is all abt luck/timing/network/opporunities if you talk abt career progression

If singapore is gone. Who cares about 3.5 when it cease to exist

If malaysia is not strong or capable. Maybe one hungry power country decide ti claim this land.

There is a possibility in the future. Ongoing wars are a prove in this modern world

The people in singapore will perish or not. We shall see. Only god knows

Unregistered Do audit associates really sacrifice a lot for the audit firm?

I heard about one audit associate who was still doing audit work on his laptop at his father's funeral.

Another associate had to work from the hospital while being admitted.

Yet another associate continued to work on his laptop while his father was in the hospital.

FPNA is a very broad umbrella. why need to do consol unless you are in group FPNA. Nor does FPNA need you to know the accounting standards at the back of your hand. just good fundamental understanding of accounting concepts and regularly just keeping up with the standards on a high level and you can do a good enough level of budgeting forecasting and management reporting. but of course there are some that require you to be technical. audit is not some hallowed you need to go through to get executive level credentials. it is valuable experience but it’s not necessary to make it. how many cfos nowadays are actually from audit? there is a good number. but definitely not all.
