Unregistered lack of sleep, lack of exit opportunities, it took the partners in big 4 a government intervention with EP compass to revise salary upwards? this shows the level of greed they have. yet i say this, we will have dumb people joining audit. let them go

U study wrong course
getting 4.1k hasnt started
Even when it starts its too late. 4.1k is the old 3k after accounting for inflation. so its very basic and peasant life.
even if u climb in deloitte to senior or manager, what are u losing? family time? personal time? hobbies? health? mental health?
what makes you think u can survive whole year peak? crazy amount of backlog? juggling 2 to 3 jobs at once. you really think there is any hand holding? you are left to swim more often than not.
and even with 2 to 3 years in audit. your salary could be higher but u think there are exit opporunities? the entire accounting industry is saturated with malaysians who are willing to take less due to exchange rate.
the salary has been low balled, even after leaving audit, there is a high chance u take a pay cut. you colleagues are all malaysians who cant speak english

Please lah...u think Isca or ACRA will admit the low CA membership was due to their decision back in 2013?

So there no way to turn back

U guys die die do SCAQ exam to get CA

And to future comercial accountants...u better don't think u can run away with SCAQ exam

Why? They been emphasis the need for professional qualification

You need to be working in ATo to take P lvl SCAQ.

If They want to boost CA, they should just allow everyone to be able to take , like ACCA / cpa aus / icaew
floodgate very big

If close the floodgate i think possible

But companies will suffer from higher labour cost and business association will kpkb

Problem is also book-keeping which low value add also associated with accountancy thus it has to be carved out from higher value add work
