No surprise, SG tech sector is a joke just full of dog devs.
Even FAANG like Google, Meta etc that are SG based all work on dogcrap projects that no one gives a f about while the devs in the US region get to work on upcoming and high traffic projects.

You should re-read. I didn't say all 100% local ones are great, I said "some" seems really good. And not offshore are hopeless either.

to be fair Accenture in the US is way better, their interviews are stricter etc, SG accenture is a dogpile, anyhow hire that's why in SG accenture is seem as a joke even though it's a F500 tech company that's respected in MCOL areas of the US.

The engineers I met seem like the type who only memorize exam dumps and don't know what to do in a dynamic environment. They don't know how to find solutions, like googling if something doesn't work. Instead, they just act clueless, waiting, and ask the client what to do. I'm not sure what's happened to Accenture's candidates nowadays, maybe it's just an isolated case, but this is how I feel, especially since I've been told Accenture is the best SI among all.
