Does engineering become super lucrative after you get qualified as a PE?

No.. PEs are everywhere nowadays. Companies dont even increase ur salary after u get PE. The only thing u get is kena blamed and sued if accident happen

Work as a chemical engineer in a oil and gas refinery.
- was offered 64.5k PA,1 year before I graduated (was previously an intern and got return offer at the end of internship)
- got readjusted to 67.7k right before I start work
- half year into the job , annual pay increased to 72k per annum
- did not receive pay increment in my 2nd year due to pandemic
- my senior with 4 years of experience are getting 90k per annum

Would not encourage people to join oil and gas industry even though pay is relatively good. Can’t get out if you work too long in the company and oil and gas industry is definitely not sustainable

Women in tech is the biggest sham…with some companies deliberately providing 50-50 headcount to both genders in what is a male dominated industry. Thats how you get women with questionable qualifications getting in.
