230k is way beyond the asst prof salary range in sg already. Obviously it's fake.

then what is the conventional range? ministers in sg are also getting way beyond the world's salary range. maybe the sg profs also benchmark their pay against the top 24 or 32 professions in singapore? you never know...

I dont agree..I am a poly lecturer and I make $190k last year...so an A.Prof definitly makes more

well, Asst prof doesnt mean it will earn more than poly lecturer. yes, entry asst prof will earn more than entry poly lecturer. but poly lecturer who is older and at pax 4 ceiling or pax 3 could jolly well earn more than asst prof. but not forgetting that asst prof are usually very young, late 20s or very early 30s.

No sideline...just salary + bonus...no night time teaching...and I m just 40.

you dont make A.Prof at late 20s....imagine....u grad at 25, go for phD...get it at 30...start as lecturer (Dr.), if u good....get promoted to A. Prof....guess that will be abt mid 30s....unless you not sillyporean...then no NS penalty...maybe can get A.Prof 2 years earlier

I'm a janitor at a polytechnic and I make 380k. You must be making 910k. You made a typo.
