With so many people like you earning so much, Singapore property prices will definitely continue to go up.

Why are people complaining of low salaries in Singapore?

There are many who earns a lot and they own a few private properties.

wat is FT and PAP? ... also, talking about property prices, with the condo's costing upwards of $1M, can someone on an EP (like me) buy with 80% finance? ... What is the typical EMI's one would pay up?

cheers

EMI ... Sounds like you're from India. Am I right?

For 80%, yes you can easily get a loan from any bank here. I'm assuming you're looking at private property. Public housing are reserved for the lower class citizens and PRs. ;)

you are better off renting rather than buying. why are you so confident you wont get retrenched? worse your retrenchenment coincides with property crash? you don't want to be underwater when you are jobless. think carefully.
