Internship allowance guideline for ntu CS student is min 1k.. and poly internship min 450$
I know becos im hiring internship recently.. to me.. the skillset for intern and freshgrad is almost the same, so its hard to justify giving high salary with their basic skillset..

From my point of view, fresh grad salary range from 3.2k to 3.5k if consider normal..
3.6k to 4k = good, above 4k = excellent(which not many will get this amount)

High pay bias and whatnot but do you disagree with all the uni surveys that cite 4k+ median starting salary? Deduct a few hundred but alot still 4k+ median (not top 10% excellent or something)

Started working upon completion of NS in 2010. Accounting industry.
Completed professional qualifications in 2014/2015
Amassed 10 years of total working experience till date.
Never joined any big4 firm, nor have any audit experience.
90k per annum package, title is Manager.

Compared to peers with the same years of experience, they are already SM / Associate Director.

Salary is comfortable but would love to know how to advance further.

No big4 history on resume really hinders job prospects.
